ROND Amsterdam was founded by three University of Amsterdam students with a shared belief: that you don’t need new materials to create something beautiful. What began with a single piece of surplus leather from the Dutch furniture industry has grown into a circular brand rooted in thoughtful Dutch design and responsible production.

The fashion industry often prioritizes speed over sustainability. At ROND, we choose a different path—upcycling premium surplus leather into timeless accessories, handcrafted in the heart of Amsterdam. There’s no secret: it’s simply about seeing value where others see waste.

Our mission is clear: no mass production, no unnecessary waste—just meaningful accessories made from materials that already exist. Each item is crafted with care, combining sustainability, local craftsmanship, and character.

Our Partners

Our products are made in collaboration with atelier MADE HERE in Amsterdam—a social atelier that shares our values and proves that local production can be both sustainable and inclusive. The leather is collected, sorted, and processed locally, with every step taken close to home.
