Our process
All our products are made from high-quality upcycled leather. By repurposing these materials, we give them a second life while preventing unnecessary CO₂ emissions.
They are designed and handcrafted in collaboration with social workspaces across the Netherlands.
Each product is then personalised with premium embossing and custom packaging, creating office supplies that are used and appreciated every day.
Ons Label Breda
ONS Label Breda is a social enterprise that creates social impact by training people who are distanced from the labour market and offering them work experience within one of its business units, with the aim of sustainably guiding them toward paid employment. ONS Label Breda also provides internships, work-based daytime activities, and training programmes.
Since 2013, several hundred participants have worked or followed training at ONS Label Breda. As a result, underutilised talents are put to use again. Participants find a place within one of the organisation’s business units, where they build work routine and self-confidence. Some participants progress to a paid (part-time) job within ONS Label Breda or at another organisation.
Makers Unite
Founded in 2016, Makers Unite is a social enterprise with a clear mission: to empower newcomers through meaningful employment while reshaping global narratives around migration.
We began by upcycling discarded life vests from migrant journeys into thoughtfully designed travel products—handcrafted by newcomers in Amsterdam. These materials, once symbols of peril, were transformed into symbols of hope, resilience, and new beginnings.
Today, Makers Unite has grown into a high-quality textile producer, collaborating with brands that share our commitment to inclusivity and sustainability. Together, we create products that combine craftsmanship, social impact, and strong storytelling.
Social return
ROND Amsterdam is a certified member of Social Enterprise NL and recognised by the Municipality of Amsterdam as a sociale firma.
